Bassets Solicitors was founded by James Basset in 1854 making the firm one of the oldest in the Medway Towns. For generations the firm has served the community’s needs and has built up a large loyal client base for both private and publicly funded matters.
Bassets Solicitors undertake publicly funded work in the areas of family and crime. Publicly funding is administered by the Legal Services Commission (LSC) who, through annual quality standard audits, ensures the high quality of service for our clients.
The three Partner firm comprising two offices, in Rochester and in Gillingham, is supported by four assistant Solicitors, three Legal Executives and two Managing Clerks together with friendly and helpful support staff.
